An oversensitive son, a contemplative intellectual, or an implacable avenger? The young Danish prince returns from his studies to his father's funeral. But his uncle already has a place on the throne and at the queen's side. The country is threatened by a foreign army, lies and corruption grow through the state apparatus and basic moral rules are violated in the name of personal goals. Where do the boundaries of human conscience, the courage to stand up to evil, and the power to take ordering into our own hands? Is it possible to keep a clean shield in the dirt? And can love survive in it? A story about madness in a crazy time. A game about whether it's more to live than to be.
