“If you won’t come to the opera, the opera will come to you!!” - even to a Rave. Who else could be behind this but RUN OPERUN?

We’re introducing a new dimension of partying where it makes sense to dance to classical and electro music at the same time and taking this concept to the pulsating heart of Prague’s club scene: Bike Jesus. Fusing opera singers with DJs and a techno atmosphere, we present OPERA RAVE. Don't expect a show or a concert – we’ll be bringing elements of opera to a true rave environment. Opera and electro music will become equal partners in the hands of amazing Czech musicians, with techno provided by the band Noisy Pots and DJ Tanita Yankova and divas Bella Adamova and Kristýna Kůstková serving you the operatic glam.

At OPERA RAVE, we tear down the barriers between the formality of opera culture and the nightlife of raves. Building on the ways these musical worlds can work together, we create a party you'll enjoy regardless of which genre you prefer.

RUN OPERUN is a collective of artists founded in 2015. Our main aspiration is to bring opera to the kind of audiences that might feel detached from this genre. The collective responds to current global affairs and trends and seeks to set opera on an equal footing with other artistic genres.
