He mostly works in a duo with playwright and dramaturg Tomáš Jarkovský, with whom they are successfully engaged in production for teenagers (Hamleteen, Neklan.cz, Gazdina roba, Closely Watched Trains) and for children (Of a White Doe, To Hell with You!).

He graduated from the Department of Alternative and Puppet Theatre, the regular director of the DRAK Theatre in Hradec Králové. Apart from DRAK, he is a regular guest of the Alfa Theatre in Plzeň (Hamleteen, Gazdina roba), he was a guest director in the Naïve Theatre in Liberec (Neklan.cz, The Camel, the Fish and the Hen) and the Minor Theatre in Prague (How Roosters Dyed the World, Mystery of the Conondrum). He occasionally works for the independent company Športniki (Back to Bullerbyn, Gagarin, Simply Clever).

For their text adaptations, theatre adaptations and paraphrases, he and Tomáš Jarkovský received the following awards: Skupa’s Plzeň 2012 for the production of Closely Watched Trains (Alfa Theatre) and Skupa’s Plzeň 2010 for the script and concept of Neklan.cz (Naïve Theatre), Back to Bullerbyn was the production of 2011 (Erik Award). His production of The Camel, the Fish and the Hen received the award for directing at 2013 Mateřinka.
