He co-founded the independent Cakes and Puppets company (1991) based on the principle of collective production, the founder of the independent Theatre b company (2016), the director of animated films (using the animation technique in real time) Weaklings and The Little Man.
He graduated from acting at the Puppet Department at DAMU (now the Department of Alternative and Puppet Theatre). He is a director in Cakes and Puppets, Theatre b and other puppet theatres (DRAK Theatre, Hradec Králové).
He received the Erik Award for the most inspiring puppet production of 2004: Rocky IX (Cakes and Puppets) and a Special Jury’s Award at Skupa’s Plzeň 2015 for the production of Lynch (Cakes and Puppets).
